About us
Say thanks: kindness is contagious
ThankFor is a thank-you and appreciation platform, completely free for members, where people share the good experiences they've had and the things they were happy with.
Complaining has a mechanism: a form, a reference number, a follow-up. Thanking usually has no such mechanism. We're trying to build one.
A thank-you can change someone's day. It can lift an employee's motivation and show that their effort has been noticed. But for that to happen, the thank-you has to be written, put on record and reach the right place.
Everything you write on ThankFor is published on the institution's profile. Institutions can see their own page and share the thank-you notes with their teams. Membership and writing thank-you notes are free; for institutions, there is a paid organization membership option.

Why
Four reasons
The reasons this platform exists come down to four points.
- 01
Saying thanks isn't hard; remembering to is
When we have a good experience, the matter is settled and slips our mind. A bad experience stays with us because it is unresolved, so we talk about it. ThankFor is a place to remember.
- 02
Good experiences deserve to be talked about too
For an institution, knowing what it does right is as valuable as knowing what it does wrong. Otherwise, good work gets mistaken for luck.
- 03
Constructive feedback raises quality
A thank-you note that names someone can go on an employee's record within the institution. That helps good work get repeated.
- 04
Kindness is contagious
Someone who reads a thank-you note is more likely to write one. The platform's only goal is to start that cycle.
