Find the institution
Use the search box to find the brand, store, hospital or municipality. Public institutions and brands are sorted into categories.

Describe your experience
Follow the 5W1H guide to explain what happened. Instead of “I was satisfied,” tell the real story; it makes all the difference.

Rate it
Give a rating from 1 to 5. Your rating counts toward the institution's average and its place in the rankings.

Get involved
Like and comment on other people's thank-you notes. The most-liked notes stand out in the feed.

Enter the Golden Idea Contests that brands run with a one-sentence idea, for a chance to win a prize.
“I was satisfied” tells no one anything
Answer six questions to make your thank-you note richer. Write the answers one after another and you get a real note of three or four sentences, the kind people actually read.

Good to know
Is it really free?
For members, yes. Writing, reading, liking and commenting on thank-you notes and entering contests are all free. Organization membership for institutions is paid; for plans and pricing, write to info@thankfor.net.
Can I write a complaint?
No. ThankFor is only for positive experiences. If you have a complaint, please use the institution's own channels or a consumer complaint platform.
Can I mention the employee's name?
Yes; it is the most effective way to make sure your thanks reaches the right person. The first letter of the surname is enough. Please don't share personal data such as phone numbers, addresses or ID numbers.
Can the institution reply to my thank-you note?
Yes. Verified institutions can reply, on behalf of the institution, to the thank-you notes written to them. The reply appears right below your note.
Can I delete my thank-you note?
Yes. You can remove any thank-you note you have written from your profile page.
I want to thank an institution that isn't on the list.
The list in the thank-you form shows registered institutions. If the one you are looking for is missing, write to us from the Contact page with the subject “Institution registration / verification”, including the institution's name and city; our team will review it and add it to the list. If you represent the institution, you can also sign up with an organization account and add it yourself.
